Your Role

As Entry Level Apprentice Technician you will receive on the job training and develop skills in the installation of fire alarm, security alarm, voice, data, or audio-visual systems that are part of a building's commercial-grade low voltage technologies. As an apprentice technician, you will learn valuable skills that will give you the opportunity to excel in the low voltage trade. An apprentice level technician will learn to read blueprints and establish the best path for the cables, they will learn to install support structures, pull cables, terminate, and troubleshoot various devices. This is an opportunity to learn the trade and maximize your potential earnings.

Background Profile

  • Experienced at working in a construction environment or physically demanding roles.
  • Mechanically inclined and familiar with basic hand tools.
  • Motivated to learn a skilled trade and willing to pursue life safety as a career.
  • Willing to travel daily to, from, and between job sites in Dallas-Fort Worth and surrounding areas.
  • Dependable and on time.
  • Able to work days, nights, and weekends as needed.
  • Someone who has reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Someone who can pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
