About the Opportunity
This role offers variety, independence, and problem-solving in fast-paced commercial environments. You ll respond to service calls, diagnose issues, and complete electrical repairs and installations for offices, schools, hospitals, retail, and light industrial facilities across the Metroplex.
What You ll Do
Troubleshoot electrical systems, lighting, and power circuits in commercial buildings.
Diagnose and repair issues with motors, transformers, panels, and lighting controls.
Perform preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and installations as required.
Install conduit, panels, breakers, and electrical devices.
Read blueprints and schematics to identify and resolve system faults.
Communicate effectively with clients and provide professional service documentation.
Work independently and ensure all work complies with NEC and local codes.
Who You Are
Hold a current Texas Journeyman Electrician License (required).
Have 2+ years of commercial service experience troubleshooting, repair, and installation.
Excellent understanding of NEC, commercial wiring methods, and motor controls.
Skilled in using test instruments (voltmeters, ohmmeters, ammeters).
Experience with lighting retrofits, ballast replacements, and control systems.
Able to manage time, communicate clearly, and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
Reliable transportation and your own basic hand tools.
Prior lead or customer-facing service experience is a strong plus.
