Crestron A/V Programmer - Job Description:
Program and commission newly installed commercial AV systems following completion of installation and construction.
Develop, load, modify, and test control system programming for platforms such as Crestron, AMX, and Extron.
Configure and program Biamp, Q-SYS/QSC, and other DSP platforms, including audio routing, processing, and control.
Configure displays, projectors, switchers, video distribution, microphones, amplifiers, cameras, conferencing equipment, and other integrated AV components.
Perform system-wide testing to verify proper communication and functionality between AV, control, audio, video, and network-connected devices.
Configure IP addresses, network settings, device communication, firmware, and system parameters as required.
Tune and calibrate audio systems for proper levels, intelligibility, coverage, and overall system performance.
Troubleshoot programming, configuration, signal-flow, hardware, firmware, and communication issues discovered during commissioning.
Review drawings, control narratives, signal-flow diagrams, equipment schedules, and project specifications to ensure programming aligns with the intended system design.
Make field programming changes and adjustments necessary to deliver a complete, functional, and user-friendly system.
Perform final system testing and assist with commissioning, punch-list completion, and customer acceptance.
Develop and maintain programming files, configuration backups, testing results, and accurate as-built system documentation.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Installers, and other technical teams to resolve outstanding issues and successfully close out projects.
Provide customer training and demonstrate system functionality following successful commissioning and turnover.
Basic Requirement:
Crestron Certification
Valid Driver s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Ability to utilize hand and power tools in a safety-oriented environment.
