Audio Visual Service Technician Job Description:

• As a service technician, you will be crucial in successfully servicing audio-visual systems on time, on budget, and in accordance with industry standards.
• Coordinating and communicating work orders and progress updates.
• Updating the work order management platform, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently.
• Train clients and customers on how to use their systems to their full potential.
• Perform audio installation, service, maintenance, and small system layout with little to no supervision.
• Participating in the design of complete and operating audio systems, including job planning documentation, limited change orders, final testing, and commissioning.
• 2-5 + years’ experience installing audio visual cabling and hardware in commercial environments.
• Capable of pulling, identifying, and labeling cables used for audio/video signals.
• AVIXA CTS Preferred, but NOT required.
• Experience with BI-Amp, Extron, and Crestron systems.
• Communication skills between general contractors, customers, clients, and vendors. 

Basic Requirement:

• Must have a Valid Driver’s License and own transportation.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to pass an extensive criminal background check.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Must have all hand/power tools required.
• Must have an OSHA 10/30 construction safety certificate/card.
