Your Role with the Company

As an Audio-Visual Lead Technician, you will play a pivotal role in our clients AV integration projects. Your responsibilities will include routine installation, termination, maintenance, and layout, and you may provide daily supervision to helpers and Level II AV Technicians. You will perform audio installation, service, maintenance, and small system layout with little to no supervision. Additionally, you will participate in the design of complete and operating audio systems, including job planning, documentation, limited change orders, final testing, and commissioning.

Background Profile

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• 4+ years of experience installing audio-visual cabling and hardware in a commercial environment.
• The ability to pull, identify, and label various cables/wires used to transmit audio/video signals and install related support structures.
• Leadership skills to guide one or more groups of technicians.
• A working knowledge of audio installation, service, general layout, documentation, testing, and commissioning with little to no supervision.
• The capability to direct helpers and Level I-III technicians throughout the normal course of a workday.
• AVIXA CTS certification is preferred but not required.
• A strong commitment to safety.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
