TradeSTAR is currently seeking experienced AV Lead Technicians for a long-term opportunity with one of our valued clients in the Dallas area. This is a high-impact role ideal for professionals ready to lead crews, manage installations, and deliver top-tier audiovisual systems in commercial environments.
We are looking for individuals who can take ownership of projects while mentoring and guiding teams that may include Helpers, Level I, Level II, and Level III Technicians, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency on every job site.

What You ll Do:
Lead and supervise installation teams on commercial AV projects
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and project documentation
Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and other trades
Oversee installation of AV systems including displays, control systems, and structured cabling
Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards
Train and develop Apprentice and mid-level technicians
What We re Looking For:
Proven experience as a Lead Technician, Foreman, or Senior AV Installer
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crews of varying experience levels
Knowledge of commercial AV systems and installation best practices
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience coordinating with job site leadership and other trades
