Audio-Visual Designer Job Description:

• Design and engineer commercial AV systems to meet client specifications and industry standards
• Prepare schematic and construction designs as well as shop drawings
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop AV proposals and estimates
• Create rigging details and integrate AV system layouts into architectural drawings
• Stay up to date on emerging AV technology trends
• Utilize CAD software to develop detailed 3D designs for voice/data, security, and AV systems
• Perform QA/QC reviews and final documentation for project completion

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in AV design, Voice/Data, or Low Voltage technology for commercial projects
• CTS and CTS-D certifications (preferred)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Experience designing AV projects exceeding $200,000- $400,000
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong collaboration skills with internal teams and clients
• Must have an OSHA 10/30 construction safety certificate/card.

• Must have a Valid Driver’s License and own transportation.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to pass an extensive criminal background check.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Must be open to Traveling.
