Experienced Commercial Audio Visual Installers are Needed!

TradeSTAR is currently seeking experienced A/V installation professionals in the local Austin area for installations in schools, hospitals, corporate boardrooms, hotels, offices, and other commercial entities.

These positions are construction-based commercial installation positions NOT event set up and tear down film, TV, or music industry positions.

Qualified candidates will have knowledge commensurate with their skill level in:

Installation and set up of projectors, wired and wireless speaker points, teleconferencing equipment, and flat panel displays.

Installation and setup of rack-mounted A/V equipment such as tuners, receivers, HDMI splitters, switchers, and amplifiers.

Installation of interactive education-based equipment like intelligent whiteboards, lecterns, and carts.

Installation of integration and automation hardware & software such as Control 4, Crestron, Extron, AMX, and Lutron.

Installation of touchscreen panels for A/V control, cameras, RF transmitters, and IR bugs.

Experience terminating connections on a wide variety of network and AV-related cables using a wide array of crimp tools and stripping devices.

**AMX, Crestron, Extron, or Lutron programming experience and certifications are a plus but not required.**

Qualified candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

Must Have a Valid Drivers License

Must Pass Criminal Background check

Must Pass Pre Employment Drug Screen

Must Have Own Transportation

Must have a minimum of six months experience in AV installations or construction experience in a related low voltage field.
