You ve built a solid foundation as a Level I now it s time to step into a more advanced role. TradeSTAR is seeking Level II Audio/Visual Technicians who are ready to take on greater responsibility in the field, expand their technical skillset, and work toward leadership positions like Lead Technician, Foreman, or Project Manager.
This is an opportunity to work with one of our trusted client partners on high-profile commercial projects while sharpening your installation skills and mentoring entry-level team members such as Helpers and Level I Technicians.

What You ll Be Doing
Install, terminate, and troubleshoot AV systems in commercial environments
Pull, route, and manage cabling including audio, video, and control systems
Mount and install displays, projectors, speakers, and AV equipment
Assist with rack buildouts, device configuration, and system integration
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation drawings
Work closely with Lead Technicians, Project Managers, and Superintendents
Provide guidance and support to Helpers and Level I Technicians
Ensure job site safety, cleanliness, and adherence to project timelines
What We re Looking For
2+ years of commercial AV, low voltage, or structured cabling experience
Strong understanding of AV installation practices and system components
Experience with terminations, device installation, and basic troubleshooting
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Comfortable working on ladders and lifts
Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
Team-oriented mindset with a desire to advance
