Your Role with the Company
As a Licensed, Commercial Apprentice Electrician you will have experience working on commercial construction projects. You will have been exposed to pulling wire, and installing EMT conduit and may have experienced bending pipe. You will work as part of a team to install junction boxes, receptacles, light fixtures, and more. You will be responsible for building your knowledge base on the job as well as after work to continue along a career trajectory that leads to a Journeyman license. Under the supervision of a Journeyman, you may be involved in the installation of cable tray and grounding, trim and form wires to fit in panels, testing electrical equipment, basic terminations, etc. You will be familiar with blueprints/schematics and will learn to utilize them to lay out and assemble an electrical system.
Background Profile
2-4 years experience as a Commercial Electrician
Familiar with pulling and terminating wires and some devices and hardware.
Possess the current State of Texas Apprentice Electrician License
Exposure to reading prints and schematics.
Reliable Transportation
Valid Driver s License
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
