Responsibilities: As a Licensed Apprentice Electrician with our client, you will have the chance to:
Perform electrical installations in commercial settings, including wiring, lighting systems, electrical panels, switches, outlets, and other devices.
Master the installation of conduit, cable tray, and MC cable.
Diagnose and efficiently repair electrical issues.
Contribute to the upgrade of existing electrical systems.
Interpret blueprints and diagrams to understand layout requirements.
Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, as well as testing equipment, to carry out electrical tasks safely and effectively.
Collaborate within a team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Experience – A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a commercial electrician in new construction, build outs, and remodels.
Electrical Knowledge – Familiarity with electrical systems, circuits, and electrical codes.
Testing and Troubleshooting – Ability to conduct testing and troubleshooting.
Tools and Equipment – Knowledge of electrical tools, equipment, and testing devices used in the trade.
Licensing – Hold a valid Texas Apprentice Electrician License (TDLR).
Identification – Possess a valid Driver's License or State ID.
Background Check – Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Drug Screen – Willingness to undergo a drug screen.
Availability – Be available for full-time hours, including overtime as needed.
