Access Control Technician - Job Description:
As an Access Control Technician, you can develop a successful career while contributing to large-scale commercial projects. Working with top contractors in Texas, your responsibilities will include:
2+ years of experience in access control installation or service.
Proficiency in reading schematics and building prints.
Functional knowledge of low voltage systems and relays.
Ability to install calling, mount equipment, install card readers, door contacts, mag locks, electrified strikes, and integrated systems.
Proficiency in assembling and installing access control panels, power supplies, cable pathways, CAT cable, low voltage cable, and coax.
Test voltage and continuity using a multimeter to trouble shoot issues.
General understanding of Network Technology.
Proficiency in operating hand tools and equipment required for associated tasks.
Basic Requirements:
3 plus years of experience installing integrated electronic security solutions in commercial environments.
Must have a Valid Texas Alarm installer license.
Must have a Valid Driver s License and own transportation.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
