Access Control Installer Job Description
Assist with mounting and wiring access control devices including card readers, keypads, door strikes, and maglocks.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to properly route cabling and install devices.
Troubleshoot basic access control and low-voltage issues under the guidance of senior technicians.
Install, configure, and align security cameras, ensuring proper coverage, connectivity, and functionality according to client specifications.
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and meet quality standards.
Basic Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience installing integrated electronic security solutions in commercial environments.
Comfortable using hand tools, power drills, and cable testers.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver s license required.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Willing to work flexible hours as needed for project completion.
