About the Opportunity
TradeSTAR is partnering with a nationally recognized security systems integrator known for delivering high-level access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems across commercial and secure facilities. With continued growth across Texas and beyond, this company invests in technicians who want long-term career advancement and hands-on experience with enterprise-level systems.
What You ll Be Doing
Install and service access control systems including card readers, mag locks, strikes, door hardware, and control panels
Run, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and system layouts
Troubleshoot system performance issues and ensure reliable operation
Work alongside Lead Technicians, Foremen, and Project Managers to complete projects successfully
Assist in mentoring Helpers and Level I Technicians on job sites
Maintain organized, professional, and code-compliant installations
What We re Looking For
2 4 years of commercial access control installation experience
Experience with card readers, mag locks, strikes, and integrated security hardware
Strong troubleshooting abilities and confidence working independently
Knowledge of low-voltage cabling standards and installation best practices
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
A team-player mindset with leadership potential
