Your role as a Audio-Visual Technician
Installation and configuration of a wide range of Audio Video, Video Conferencing, Digital Display, and Projection systems Crestron, Extron, AMX, Cisco, and Polycom.
Involved in the full installation process, including everything from the soldering of cables/connectors to the integration of a full Crestron / AMX presentation boardroom with a video conference kit.
Provide training and client support to users in operating audio/video and video conferencing equipment.
Ability to read schematic diagrams and building drawings.
Responsible for job documentation, project changes, and communication with project management.
Travel to different sites as needed.
Professionally interact with clients.
Minimum of 3 years experience as an installation technician.
Strong grasp of Audio & Video, including signal flow, equipment functionality, control, and programming.
Familiarity with product lines including Crestron, Extron, Epson, NEC, Sharp, Polycom, BiAmp, Clearone, AMX, etc.
Ability to drop AMX, Crestron, DSP code, and commission AV systems.
Involved with the training end-user on AV systems.
Proficiency with low voltage wiring, trim-out, and installation of wall and ceiling mounts. Competent in using test equipment. Excellent troubleshooting skills at the component level.
Professionally interacts with clients and manages expectations.
Pass a criminal background and drug screen.
Possess a valid driver's license.
