Your Role with the Company: As a Level III AV Technician, you will have experience in routine installation, termination, maintenance, and layout without general supervision. You will be experienced with various terminations, including coaxial (F and BNC) and speakers. Responsibilities include audio installation, service, maintenance, small system layout with minimal to no supervision, directing the actions of one or more helpers, participating in job planning, conducting supervised service/maintenance projects, assisting in maintaining as-built drawings, and configuring simple systems.

Background Profile:

• 3+ years’ experience in installing audio-visual cabling and hardware in a commercial environment.
• Capable of reading/interpreting blueprints, pulling, identifying, and labeling various cables/wires used to transmit audio/video signals and installing support structures with minimal to no direct supervision.
• Familiar with audio installation, service, and general layout.
• Capable of basic AV terminations.
• Experience with Crestron equipment is a plus.
• Avixa certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of Distributive Audio Systems such as 70 Volt and 25 Volt
• Basic Electronics circuit knowledge (voltage current, impedance, relay logic, etc..)
• Experience with digital signal processors – connecting, configuring, and commissioning
• Able to use specific tools such as soldering iron, voltmeter, and impedance meter
• Safety-conscious and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
• An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• Willing and able to work days, nights, and weekends as needed.
• Has reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Can pass a drug screen and criminal background check
