Your Role as a Structured Cabling Technician:

• Install, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cables in commercial settings.
• Build and install support structures, including J-hooks, cable trays, and ladder racks.
• Terminate patch panels and workstation outlets to industry standards.
• Perform troubleshooting and certification using advanced test equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Follow all safety regulations and best practices for network cabling.

Background Profile:

• At least 2 years of experience in structured cabling or low-voltage installations.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and cable pathways.
• Experience with fiber optic terminations and testing is a plus.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
