Entry Level Technology Integrator - Job Description:
- Prep job site for installation of fire alarms, security electronic access, video surveillance and network communication systems.
- Will be performing installations of circuits, cabling, and electronic equipment in various types of commercial environments such as: Schools, Hospitals, High-Rise buildings, data centers, warehouses, and other commercial spaces while under construction or upgrade renovations.
- Install structured cabling and support structures within the building, terminate data connectors, mount wall face plates, wireless access points and test using Fluke Cable Testing Equipment.
- Assist with build out of server rooms installing racks, trays and mounting switches, patch panels, uninterrupted power supplies and network video recorders.
- Run circuits and wires throughout buildings, trim out walls and sheet rock to mount devices. Strip wires and wire sensors, relays, alarm and access electronic devices.
- Assist with building out of control room, mount main panels, power supplies, label wires, install control boards.
- Verify fire alarm or access control system is functioning by testing equipment, connections, and signals, identifying and correcting problems.
- Maintains safe and secure work environment by following safe practices, keeping security information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Receive training and interpreting building drawings, wiring diagrams/ schematics.
