What is in it for you?
Your Role with the Company
As a Level II Access Control Technician, you will lead or work as part of a team to pull cable in J hooks, bridle rings, conduit, and other types of support structures. You are capable of all cable and device installations and terminations (such as panic bars, power transfer hinges, motion detectors, door strikes, maglocks, glass breaks, IP & CCTV Cameras, etc.) You will read prints and schematics to determine cable paths and ensure correct installation of cable and system components. You will be capable of engaging the clients, general contractors, and authorities that have jurisdiction as a qualified representative, you will conduct walk throughs and attend jobsite meetings with general contractors, safety personnel and other stakeholders.
Background Profile
2+ years’ experience installing and terminating cable for integrated electronic security equipment, the equipment, and support structure in a commercial environment.
A current State of Texas Electronic Access Control Device Installer or Alarm Installer license.
Expert with basic device terminations
Capable of reading blueprints and schematics
Can lead a crew of 3-5 installers and/or technicians on small to medium projects.
Safety Conscious
Able to work days, nights, and weekends as needed.
Has reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Can pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
