Job Responsibilities:
- Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain commercial fire alarm systems, ensuring they comply with local and national safety standards.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair issues with fire alarm systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- System Testing: Conduct regular testing of fire alarm systems, including smoke detectors, panels, and alarm devices to ensure they are fully operational.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and repairs, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, electricians, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of fire alarm systems into commercial projects.
Qualifications:
- License: Valid State of Texas Fire Alarm license.
- Experience: Proven experience with commercial fire alarm systems, including knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, understanding of various fire alarm components and their functions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety, with the ability to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
