Access Control Service Technician Job Description
Service, troubleshoot, and repair access control hardware including mag locks, electric strikes, door position switches, REX devices, card readers, power supplies, and control panels.
Perform diagnostics on door hardware integrations (hinges, closers, latches, brackets) and ensure proper mechanical alignment with electronic components.
Manage incoming service tickets, prioritize work orders, track job progress, and document all service activities within the company s ticketing/CRM system.
Conduct onsite assessments to identify system failures, recommend corrective actions, order replacement hardware, and follow through to full resolution.
Configure and update access control software, user credentials, schedules, and system permissions while ensuring accurate recordkeeping and client communication.
Basic Requirements:
Experience with Brivo and Verkada programming is a plus.
Minimum of 4 years of industry experience with access control systems.
Must have a Valid Driver s License and own transportation.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
